How to register on IRC permanently

1) First choose your nickname in Xchat and connect to Freenode server from list of servers

2) Register your IRC nick /msg nickserv register <your-password> <your-email>

3) Check your email and follow the validation instructions

4) Hide your email from being visible to others /msg nickserv set hidemail on
